Since 1938, Lay’s have been made with real, farm-grown potatoes. But 41% of Americans didn’t know that Lay’s potato chips…were made from potatoes. That’s a problem because people are gravitating toward brands they believe have “better ingredients.”
To set the record straight, we aired a Super Bowl spot promising to deliver 100,000 bags of the freshest chips straight from our farms to American homes in 72 hours or less. And we actually pulled it off.
Our team delivered 97% of bags within 72 hours or less across the country. And for the 2,795 delays, we gave away 2,795 years’ worth of Lay’s.
